I had many barrels and unfortunately experienced the dreaded frame stretch after firing 500 or so rounds out of a 338 jdj#2. 4 inches at 100yards, 1.5 at 200 yards and little under 3 inches at 100 yards. I had a 2x7 power scope and off of a rest my best groups were. I ended up having it rechambered to a 7x30jdj for honestly no real advantage. I settled on a 14 inch 7x30 waters barrel after reading my dad's reloading books, the whole book, multiple times.
